That mission guides each of our programs:
Navigating Options. Building Futures. is a youth development and career-readiness program intended to support students in grades 6–12. Its four pillars are Leadership, Financial Literacy, Career Readiness, and Self-Care & Management. The existing high-school curriculum provides a foundation for the program, and curriculum content for grades 6–8 will be developed in a future phase.
Rooted in the Options Consulting mission, the program is designed to prepare young people with the practical skills, confidence, and opportunities they need for success in school and beyond.
Roots, Grow, Purpose, and Launch outline a proposed developmental pathway across the middle- and high-school years. The existing high-school curriculum provides a foundation for these stages, which are guided by the four pillars of Leadership, Financial Literacy, Career Readiness, and Self-Care & Management. The full pathway is still being built.
Options Consulting is committed to advancing educational and youth-development goals that help students build essential life skills, explore career opportunities, strengthen leadership abilities, and prepare for success beyond high school.
Our approach reflects principles associated with student leadership, social-emotional learning, career readiness, financial literacy, and whole-child development. As we expand Navigating Options. Building Futures. to include grades 6–8, we intend to review relevant educational frameworks and map appropriate curriculum content to applicable standards and competencies. This future work will help document the relationship between our learning activities and established educational expectations.
LaunchBR Youth Enterprise Lab is a youth entrepreneurship initiative currently in development. It is being designed to introduce students to business planning, financial literacy, marketing, leadership, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship.
Our vision is to make entrepreneurship education accessible to more young people by bringing it into the places where they already learn and gather — through school-based and community-based settings.

Options Consulting is led by Andrea Simmons, a youth development consultant with a passion for ensuring every young person crosses the finish line prepared — not just with a diploma, but with direction.
We offer 30-minute introductory presentations for schools and organizations interested in our programs. The first conversation is always free.
